Reading About Others' Year-Long Challenges

I really enjoy reading year-long memoirs. This is the term I thought I'd coined myself (but it turns out that no, I am not the only one who uses it) for those books that are written by people creative enough not only to think of projects to do in a year, but also to write up a book proposal, score a contract, and get paid for it.

In 2013 I want to read the books above (in some cases, reread); undoubtedly the list will grow.
